Your free hostd.it / hostdservers.com address

Every server gets a friendly domain - short and shareable, included in every plan.

What you get

  • Plans under 8 GB RAM: yourname.hostdservers.com
  • 8 GB and above: the shorter yourname.hostd.it - free, as a bonus on bigger plans.

For Minecraft Java, clients auto-resolve the port via SRV records, so you share the bare name. Other games paste name.hostd.it:PORT. The dashboard shows exactly what to send your friends.

Changing the name

Dashboard → Change (next to the address) → pick a new name. Changes apply in 1 to 5 minutes (DNS propagation). You can rename once every 30 days - we enforce a cooldown so cached lookups have time to clear and your friends don't lose the old address.

Using your own domain

Not a native feature yet. You can CNAME your domain to your *.hostd.it / *.hostdservers.com address for Bedrock and other non-Minecraft games. For Minecraft Java, you'd need to add a matching SRV record at your DNS provider.
